The photos themselves are very clear, it was Often easier to take photos of babies back then as the babies would sleep through the lengthy process. So sad that mother and child both died so very young.
I love the information on the back of the docket, it gives detail that help 'flesh out' our family history.
Oral history is a wonderful thing as it can contain some truth but very seldom is completely accurate, this is what I have found with my family research.Marilyn & Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00851884880790561276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7891341104960753282.post-76453060973334839362010-09-19T20:09:29.251-04:002010-09-19T20:09:29.251-04:00The photos are quite lovely after all these years....The photos are quite lovely after all these years. It's interesting to me that the frames (or mattes) are different on both of them. I love Elizabeth's hat. I don't think I've ever seen a hat like that worn at that time period. Wonderful post. It will be interesting to learn what you find out about the cemetery and gravestones. You have a nice blog.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12136584654825212359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7891341104960753282.post-12585431642080210782010-09-19T17:41:32.218-04:002010-09-19T17:41:32.218-04:00What a hard life they must have lived. The subjects had to sit very still for some time.. do I detect a little blurring from the baby's movement. It must have been so difficult to get babies to sit still.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08470961835179653158noreply@blogger.com
